Our client was creating a new textile business from scratch. The aim of the design was to embrace her style of new fresh, colourful, vibrant and almost playful designs.
Mimi was inspired by the Bloomsbury set with her range of colours and almost naive style and this was very much where our inspiration for the visual identity began.
Using a handcrafted typeface with English countryside illustrations, the design and combination choice of colour emulated the freshness of Mimi’s style. Importantly, Mimi's products are made completely by hand in the UK, and we realised the importance of this as a promotional feature, and we therefore introduced it as a crucial part of the brand identity.
