Peper Design has worked closely with Gate Street for more than a decade. Ten years ago, we created the original logo and brand identity for the wedding venue, taking this across stationery and venue signage, internally and externally. In addition, over the years, we have designed and produced four biennial 48 page wedding prospectuses/brochures, liaising with each of the venue’s individual suppliers to produce individual advertisements for each company.
Recently, Gate Street have expanded the business to incorporate the farm and conservation, a farm shop, accommodation, supper clubs and other occasions, corporate events, whilst retaining its wedding venue business.
For the relaunch, Peper designed new branding, working with the original colours and theme, creating a strong, classic updated identity based on the ‘GS’ motif and integrating all of the key areas of the business as part of the identity: eat, work, party, sleep. The website offers an easy to navigate, attractive but in-depth look at Gate Street, incorporating many areas such as sections for all suppliers, interactive maps, galleries for spring, summer autumn weddings, all accommodation, a work section for corporate events, and a farm section with an easy to use shop for the farm produce.
Peper continues to work closely with Gate Street as the new business areas develop.
